On 26 and 27 October 2016 the Nanohybrids project team met at DLR in Cologne to review the first 12 months of the work and plan the next period. 22 people from 12 partner institutions and 7 countries enjoyed presenting their preliminary results and getting feedback from the industrial as well as from academic partners. A lively discussion between the research institutions and between the research partners and the industrial partner stimulated cross-fertilization and new ideas for future work. Intense knowledge sharing and learning from each other resulted in the positive review of the project monitor which he had given after the M6 meeting. It will enable the project to stay on the track towards the industrial application and creation of promising innovations.
One of the highlights of the meeting was the exciting visit of the DLR Lab.
The first milestone has been successfully achieved and decisions towards future steps have been agreed upon.
