New materials and nanotechnology are key technologies of the High-Tech Strategy of the federal government. The Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) provides interactive competency maps on materials technology and nanotechnology in Germany to increase the transparency on research and training activities and to facilitate cooperations along the value chain.
On 26 and 27 October 2016 the Nanohybrids project team met at DLR in Cologne to review the first 12 months of the work and plan the next period. 22 people from 12 partner institutions and 7 countries enjoyed presenting their preliminary results and getting feedback from the industrial as well as from academic partners.
The EU funded project “New generation of nanoporous organic and hybrid aerogels for industrial applications: from the lab to pilot scale production“ started on 1 November 2015.
